Xiaomi SU7 offers relatively better sun protection and heat insulation, providing a more comfortable experience in the same sunlight conditions. Of course, air conditioning should still be turned on in advance after long-term exposure to the sun.
Firstly, Xiaomi SU7 features a dual-layer silver-coated large panoramic roof glass, which can better reflect sunlight to achieve sun protection and heat insulation effects. The ultraviolet ray isolation rate reaches 99.9%, and the infrared ray isolation rate reaches 99.1%. At the same time, the light transmission rate is well-managed, so you won't feel sunburned while sitting inside, and the transparency remains excellent.
The sun protection experience of the front windshield is even more prominent. Many women wear ice sleeves while driving in summer to protect themselves from the sun. To solve this pain point, we adopted a triple-layer silver-coated front windshield glass. We are currently the only sedan adopting this technology and experience. The triple-layer silver-coated front windshield glass has an ultraviolet ray isolation rate of 99.5% and an infrared ray isolation rate of 97.6%, allowing the overall temperature inside the vehicle to drop significantly.
This is not enough. The window glasses on all four doors of Xiaomi SU7 also adopt UV-IR coating technology, achieving a 99.9% ultraviolet ray isolation rate for the four-door windows. Our engineers conducted tests in the laboratory. After 90 minutes of exposure under 38°C sunlight, the interior temperature of Xiaomi SU7 was 12°C lower than that of competitors. Such effective heat insulation ensures that the cabin is no longer sweltering after summer sun exposure.
Although the temperature is relatively lower, the cabin is still not suitable for immediate occupancy after prolonged intense sun exposure. Everyone can turn on the air conditioning in advance via the Xiaomi Auto APP or Xiao Ai speaker. Combined with the excellent air conditioning system, cooling will be faster, allowing you to enjoy a more comfortable cabin experience as soon as you get in during the hot summer.
