Why is it sometimes difficult to see the HUD when wearing sunglasses?
The HUD image is generated by a TFT LCD screen producing polarized light, which is refracted through the glass and reflected into the driver's eyes. Polarized sunglasses are designed to filter out this specific polarized light, reducing the visibility of the HUD display. This is a normal physical principle that applies to most HUD systems.
If you are accustomed to wearing sunglasses while using the HUD, we recommend choosing non-polarized sunglasses to improve HUD visibility.
