I heard that the Xiaomi YU7 has a built-in ETC. How do I activate it?
The Xiaomi YU7 comes with a factory-installed onboard ETC device integrated into the cover of the rearview mirror. It supports passage on highways nationwide and enjoys a 9.5% discount, which is the same as the discount benefits of aftermarket ETC devices available on the market.
After completing vehicle registration, you can follow these steps to activate your onboard ETC:
Open Settings from the control bar at the bottom of the central control screen, navigate to Services > Apply for ETC Service, and a QR code for applying for the ETC will pop up on the central control screen;
Use WeChat or Alipay to scan the QR code to enter the designated mini-program, connect to the ETC Bluetooth device displayed in the popup window, and complete the ETC activation by submitting personal information according to the mini-program's instructions;
Once activated successfully, you can directly use this ETC for transactions.
Additionally, please note the following points during the activation process:
A single license plate is only allowed to apply for one ETC device.
Please prepare your ID card and vehicle driving license in advance for use during the application process.
Please use any payment channel provided by the system as the deduction method for future highway ETC passages.
If you install a third-party ETC device on the vehicle yourself, the signal from the third-party ETC device may interfere with the signal of the car's onboard ETC.
If you sell the vehicle yourself, to avoid financial loss, please unbind the ETC before the transaction.
