I noticed that the casing of my 4K gimbal camera gets hot during operation. Is this normal?
Please rest assured that it is normal for the casing of the 4K gimbal camera to feel hot during operation, and this will not affect the product's safe use or lifespan.
The 4K gimbal camera adopts an integrated aluminum alloy body design, allowing internal heat to distribute rapidly and evenly across the body. Unlike common plastic-bodied cameras, the aluminum metal shell conducts heat faster, which is one reason why it feels hotter to the touch: metal transfers heat quickly and the sensation is more pronounced. Additionally, we have conducted extensive verification to ensure it can operate continuously in environments around 70°C and maintain normal functionality after being placed in environments around 85°C.
Finally, we kindly remind you:
Do not cover the device, as this may hinder heat dissipation;
Avoid prolonged use under direct sunlight;
During operation, if the internal temperature reaches above 90°C (with an ambient temperature of approximately 75–80°C), the product will trigger a high-temperature warning alert. Upon receiving the alert, we recommend turning off the camera and waiting for a period before using it again.
