Is there a difference between the number and models of smart devices controlled via the vehicle's infotainment system compared to the mobile Mi Home app?
Yes, there is a difference. You can understand the "Mi Home APP" on your mobile phone as a "full-featured control hub," meaning all smart devices bound to your account can be controlled through the Mi Home APP.
The vehicle-side Mi Home serves as a "non-full-featured control hub." To provide a simpler and clearer user experience, we have specifically selected and supported common smart devices with clear remote control scenarios in the car. For example, home lights, curtains, air conditioners, cameras, robot vacuums, and air purifiers can be controlled via the vehicle's infotainment system, while smart devices like electric toothbrushes, shavers, blood pressure monitors, and rowing machines, which lack clear vehicle-side control scenarios, are not supported.
In the future, we will gradually increase the categories and quantity of smart home devices controllable via Vehicle-side Mi Home based on user feedback, creating a more intelligent "Human x Car x Home Ecosystem" experience for everyone.
