After picking up the car, if I apply paint protection film (PPF), can sensors like millimeter-wave radar and ultrasonic radars be covered? Which parts should not be covered?

Official answer

When applying paint protection film, please be careful to avoid the vehicle's radar installation areas to prevent affecting the normal operation of related functions. Specifically, the LiDAR (quantity: 1, only equipped on Xiaomi SU7 Pro/Max) is installed at the top of the front windshield. Ultrasonic radars (quantity: 12) are installed in the front and rear bumper areas. The front millimeter-wave radar (quantity: 1) is installed inside the right side of the front bumper. The corner millimeter-wave radars (quantity: 2, only equipped on Xiaomi SU7 Pro/Max) are installed inside both sides of the rear bumper.

Since the millimeter-wave radar installation positions are not visible, you can refer to the schematic diagram below to avoid corresponding areas during PPF application.
