Why did the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra wait until now to set the Zhejiang Circuit record? Why wasn't 'Brother Can' driving this time?
According to the official lap time leaderboard rules of the Zhejiang International Circuit, all vehicles participating in testing and entering the leaderboard must be mass-production models currently on sale in the market. The vehicle and all its accessories must strictly comply with legal regulations and meet the requirements for legal road registration and licensing. Therefore, we strictly followed the regulations and officially began the Zhejiang Circuit lap time record challenge on March 17, 2025, after the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was officially launched.
At the same time, to ensure the professionalism and consistency of the test, as well as the authority and credibility of the test results, the Zhejiang Circuit stipulates that official tests for its lap time leaderboard must be driven by official Zhejiang Circuit drivers. Therefore, the driver who drove the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to set the lap time this time was Luo Kailuo, an official test driver for the Zhejiang Circuit (@Racer Luo Kailuo).
