The HUD interface of the new-generation SU7 is different from before. What are the changes, and can existing owners upgrade?

Official answer

The 56-inch HUD of the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 has received a major upgrade. First, leveraging the technological capabilities of the YU7 family, a new HUD card editing feature has been added, offering various cards such as trip energy consumption, map navigation, arrival information, and road perception system. There are also three layout modes: combined, immersive, and persistent. You can freely adjust the layout, card types, and card positions, keeping the surroundings in full view, displaying the route in real time, and keeping track of vehicle information at all times for a greater sense of security;
It also adds steering and parking camera displays, allowing you to clearly see the surrounding environment during steering and parking on the HUD without needing to turn or lower your head to look at the center screen, providing a better field of view while keeping your eyes on the road. Of course, you can also freely turn on, turn off, and adjust the display of this information;
When you activate Xiaomi HAD assisted driving, the enhanced environment perception feature can display trajectory lines, making driving more reassuring and enhancing the sense of technology;
The HUD of the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 continues to provide brightness, height, horizontal, and angle adjustments, as well as HUD position memory, line-of-sight height matching, and automatic brightness adjustment for your convenience. Please note that some sunglasses may affect your ability to read HUD information. If you are used to wearing sunglasses and using the HUD, it is recommended to choose non-polarized sunglasses;
If you are an owner of the first-generation Xiaomi SU7 or Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, we will push some of the new HUD features to you via OTA in the future. Please refer to official information for the specific timing and features. Stay tuned!
