What is the purpose of the Owner Management Mode in the new-generation SU7?

Official answer

Owner Management Mode allows the owner to limit and set the vehicle's power performance via the central control screen or the vehicle control page in the mobile app, making it safer and more reassuring when using a valet, lending the car, or when a novice driver in the family is using the vehicle;

The owner can freely choose whether to set the following restrictions, which will take effect once the main switch for Owner Mode is turned on. The restrictions include:

  • Power Limitation: After enabling power limitation, the power response in each driving mode will be limited proportionally, rather than being restricted to a single fixed power mode. This ensures safety while retaining the choice of multiple driving modes;
  • Disable High-Performance Power Modes: Various high-performance modes, including Boost Mode, Launch Mode, and Master Custom Tuning, cannot be activated, preventing the extra risks brought by reckless driving or accidental triggering by novices;
  • Top Speed Limitation can also be set to prevent speeding.
  • Additionally, for new cars, "Driving Safety Protection" is enabled by default within the first 300 km of total vehicle mileage. During this period, the power level is restricted to a lower level. After 300 km, the UI entry automatically changes to "Owner Management Mode".
