Is the braking system of the YU7 GT the same as the SU7 Ultra?
Yes, the braking system of the YU7 GT is the same "High-Performance Braking System" as the SU7 Ultra. It has also undergone the "rigorous testing" of the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Equipped with Michelin® Pilot Sport 5 tires, the YU7 GT's shortest "100-0 km/h" braking distance is only 32.9m, providing ample braking confidence and a sense of security for daily use.
The YU7 GT comes standard with Akebono® front 6-piston and rear 4-piston fixed high-performance calipers, and class-leading carbon-ceramic discs measuring 430mm×40mm at the front and 410mm×32mm at the rear, with a maximum operating temperature reaching 1300℃. Coupled with the ability to retain up to 0.6g of regenerative braking even when ABS is triggered, it significantly reduces the thermal load on the braking system, achieving 10 consecutive 180km/h-0 emergency stops, or even two consecutive 300km/h-0 extreme stops without fade.
