The YU7 GT can reach a top speed of 300 km/h on the high-speed oval. What significance does this have for our daily driving?

Official answer

Top speed performance is fundamentally a reflection of the comprehensive technical strength of the vehicle's chassis, battery, electric drive, and thermal management systems. It also means the vehicle possesses higher safety and performance redundancy. Although the extreme performance of the three-electric system may not be used during daily commuting, the hardware and tuning that support high top speeds are at work everywhere in daily driving.

The high-speed oval test was conducted on the T7 high-speed oval at the Yancheng Automotive Proving Ground: the YU7 GT successfully achieved a top speed of 300 km/h. Additionally, the YU7 Standard Edition also completed a top speed test of 220 km/h, showing a clear advantage among vehicles in its class.

In short, top speed performance brings higher engineering redundancy, giving the vehicle greater reliability and stability with a wider bandwidth during daily driving, safeguarding the entire journey for drivers and passengers.
