All Xiaomi Pengcheng models are equipped with an emergency wading mode, providing a certain level of emergency wading capability. Among them, the N90 Max has a maximum wading depth of 750 mm, and the N70 Max has a maximum wading depth of 650 mm, effectively addressing the increasingly common urban waterlogging scenarios and offering users a more comfortable and safer driving experience.
For emergency wading conditions, the power battery of Xiaomi Pengcheng meets the IPX8 and IPX9K waterproof standards. It can satisfy the static waterproof requirement of immersion in 1 meter of water for 24 hours, as well as the dynamic waterproof requirement of rinsing with high-temperature, high-pressure water flow at 80±5°C. This provides reliable protection for conventional wading scenarios such as driving through shallow standing water, high-speed wading, and cleaning with high-pressure water guns, so you do not need to worry about the safety performance of the power battery under normal wading conditions.
During emergency wading, the vehicle should be driven slowly at low speed, and the wading time and distance must be strictly controlled. Do not wade for extended periods or over long distances. After emergency wading, you should immediately contact a Xiaomi EV Service Center for a comprehensive inspection or maintenance; otherwise, it may cause vehicle damage and safety risks.
