How should Intelligent Parking Assist be activated? Are there any precautions?
When the vehicle speed is below 15km/h, the entrance icon for Intelligent Parking Assist will appear in the bottom left corner of the smart driving card on the central control screen:
Step 1: Click the Intelligent Parking entrance icon
Step 2: Maintain manual driving until an empty parking space is found, then press the brake pedal
Step 3: Select the desired empty parking space on the central control screen
Step 4: Click the "Start Parking" button, release the brake and steering wheel. Upon hearing "Parking started, please pay attention to surrounding safety," the system begins controlling the vehicle.
Step 5: The system completes parking and automatically shifts into P gear.
Please note:
Assisted driving functions such as Intelligent Parking Assist cannot completely replace the driver's visual inspection. The driver remains the primary operator and is responsible for the vehicle's behavior during driving. Specific details can be viewed in the "Smart Driving School" section of the Xiaomi Auto APP or the vehicle's smart driving settings page, as well as in the user manual.
Some owners who recently purchased new cars tie red ribbons to the side mirrors or place "Novice Driver" stickers on the body radar sensors. A friendly reminder: obstructing vehicle sensors (cameras or radars) affects the safety of assisted driving. It is recommended to check the status of sensors before using assisted driving features.
