What is the function of the "SOS" button on the headliner?

Official answer

The "SOS" button is for the emergency call function. In the event of a personal injury accident or other emergencies, you can manually trigger it, or the vehicle will automatically trigger an emergency call to request assistance and rescue from the call center. However, please note that SOS is only for emergency calls and is not a direct line for after-sales service.

1. Manual Call: Press and hold the SOS button for 2s-10s, then release to activate the SOS function. At this point, vehicle status information (location, time, vehicle data, etc.) is automatically sent to the rescue center, and the central control screen displays the call interface. The rescue center provides timely rescue services based on the uploaded vehicle status information and the conversation.

Special Instructions/Precautions:

The SOS button should only be used in emergencies, such as personal injury accidents, illness, or if occupants are threatened.

Once the manual call function is triggered and during the call process, the function cannot be canceled; only the rescue center can hang up.

2. Automatic Call: When the vehicle experiences a collision and receives a collision signal, the SOS function activates automatically. At this point, vehicle status information (location, time, vehicle data, etc.) is automatically sent to the rescue center, and the central control screen displays the call interface.

Precautions:

Once the automatic call function is triggered and during the call process, the function cannot be canceled; only the rescue center can hang up.

The automatic call function is not triggered by every accident. If you are able to make a manual call, do not wait for the system to trigger an automatic call; immediately manually call the rescue center to avoid delaying response time.

The rescue call function requires the vehicle to be connected to the network to work.

In emergencies, the rescue center will callback to the vehicle's infotainment system, and the call will be answered automatically.
