After the OTA upgrade, the speed for valet parking increased. How was this achieved?
After the vehicle system was upgraded to the latest version, the Xiaomi SU7 Pro and Max were upgraded to a more advanced end-to-end valet parking system. Parking efficiency has been significantly improved, with a maximum speed reaching 23km/h. It can also simulate real users' reversing to avoid obstacles; when space is limited during movement, it can autonomously reverse to create space.
The end-to-end large model replaces multiple modules previously used for perception, decision-making, and planning, allowing intelligent driving to directly input images at one end and output driving trajectories at the other. The end-to-end large model is currently the intelligent driving algorithm with the deepest level of human-like thinking. Because intermediate module calculations and signal transmission times have been eliminated, the system response is faster. Also, because it is end-to-end, unlike traditional cascaded schemes that evaluate based on local performance, it uses final intelligent driving performance as the benchmark. Therefore, from both technical and experiential perspectives, it is a globally optimal technical solution, enabling more flexible decision-making and more human-like vehicle control.
In short, end-to-end technology is a more advanced, safer, and more human-like intelligent driving solution. Its application in the valet parking function will significantly improve the experience, and we welcome everyone to try it out. At the same time, we once again remind everyone that intelligent assisted driving functions cannot completely replace driver control of the vehicle. Drivers must remain fully attentive throughout the driving process, constantly monitor the road conditions around the vehicle, and be prepared to take over control of the vehicle at any time.
