Why does charging occasionally stop automatically at 90% when using public DC charging piles?
You can first check if the vehicle has a pre-set SoC charging threshold. If you have set a 90% charging threshold, the vehicle will automatically stop charging when it reaches 90%.
If a 90% charging threshold was not set but charging still interrupted, it may be due to factors triggering the pile-side protection strategy, including but not limited to: aging or damaged charging gun/cables, foreign objects or damage in the charging interface, overheating protection triggered by excessively high temperatures of the charging gun/cable, or specific operational strategies of individual charging stations (such as set charging limits). For charging safety reasons, the system may automatically disconnect and stop charging.
The Xiaomi SU7 boasts excellent charging compatibility. During the product R&D phase, we conducted joint testing and certification with multiple third-party authoritative institutions, achieving over 99% compatibility with third-party chargers, significantly enhancing the charging experience for a wide range of users.
