To better balance the energy consumption needs of daily driving and the handling needs of sporty driving, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is specially designed with an active rear diffuser. It is located below the rear of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and can not only adjust adaptively between 0° and 32° based on driving speed but also be adjusted manually.
When the diffuser is at 32° (i.e., open), it can reduce wind resistance and improve range; when it is at 0° (i.e., closed), it can increase downforce and enhance the vehicle's handling stability. This is a signature configuration that allows the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to be both street-legal and track-ready.
