Is Xiaomi YU7 just a lifted version of Xiaomi SU7?
No. From the beginning of product definition, we clarified that Xiaomi YU7 is not simply a lifted version of SU7, but Xiaomi's first SUV that is significantly different inside and out. Although both Xiaomi YU7 and Xiaomi SU7 are developed based on the Xiaomi Modena platform, 90% of the components in the Xiaomi YU7 project were redesigned.
Xiaomi YU7 is positioned as a 'Luxury High-Performance SUV'. It is not an ordinary, mediocre large-space SUV, but a SUV carefully designed for drivers. It possesses an elegant shape and high performance, while also providing excellent luxury and spatial comfort.
The exterior design adopts the family design language inherited from Xiaomi SU7, with evolutions in details such as hollowed-out water-drop headlights and halo taillights, making it sharper, more three-dimensional, and better aligned with the product positioning of a 'Luxury High-Performance SUV'.
There is also a more technological, luxurious, and comfortable cabin design, adding the Xiaomi Sky Screen Panoramic Display Xiaomi HyperVision, bringing a brand-new visual interaction experience. The interior adopts a dual-zone surround design with simple, full surfaces, luxurious materials, extensive soft padding coverage, front dual zero-gravity seats, rear 135° luxury electric seats, and unexpectedly large space, providing a more luxurious and comfortable enjoyment.
In terms of performance, the newly upgraded Xiaomi Super Motor V6s Plus further improves speed, torque, and power on the basis of V6s. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version has a maximum horsepower of 690PS and a peak power of 508kW, delivering very powerful performance. With luxurious chassis configuration and professional chassis tuning, it balances sportiness and comfort. Full-series ultra-long range, with the entry-level version having an ultra-long CLTC range of 835km, and the four-wheel-drive version also achieving an impressive range of up to 770km.
More importantly, the underlying architecture of Xiaomi YU7 inherits the advantages of Xiaomi SU7 and undergoes comprehensive upgrades, such as the Armor Cage Body, Quad-in-One Domain Control Module, and auxiliary driving, providing users with a more comprehensive and leading advanced experience.
