Mr. Lei mentioned during tonight's live broadcast that the mileage threshold for novice users to unlock assisted driving functions will be lowered. What is the consideration behind this?

Official answer

We attach great importance to user feedback regarding the mileage standards for unlocking Xiaomi HAD Urban Navigation Assist (CNOA). To allow more users to experience Urban Navigation Assist earlier while ensuring safety, we have optimized this unlocking mileage standard.

In 2024, when Xiaomi EV activated the City Navigation Assist (CNOA) function, we set a requirement of 1,000 kilometers of safe assisted driving mileage for this feature. Users needed to accumulate mileage using Highway Navigation Assist (HNOA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Lane Centering Assist (LCC) to automatically unlock the CNOA function upon meeting the threshold.

Subsequently, we received a large volume of feedback from multiple channels, with users generally calling for lowering this threshold. After careful evaluation and communication with many users, we will actively adopt everyone's suggestions and plan to reduce this safe mileage requirement.

Please note that although the threshold has been lowered, assisted driving is not equivalent to autonomous driving. During use, please always remain attentive to road conditions and be ready to take control of the vehicle at any time.
