What is the "Transparency Mode" on the new-generation SU7, and how do I use it?

"Transparency Mode" uses the exterior microphone array and the interior audio system to transmit ambient exterior sounds into the cabin in real time. This allows you to fully perceive surrounding sounds without opening the windows, and easily enables natural interaction with people outside the vehicle. You can find and enable Transparency Mode in the central control screen under Settings > Sound, or you can activate it via Xiao Ai. Once "Transparency Mode" is turned on, it will be displayed in the Xiaomi Super Island at the top of the central control screen. At this point, clicking the button on the left will activate the exterior intercom, allowing you to communicate vocally with people outside the vehicle;

You can use Transparency Mode in scenarios such as low-speed driving1, where it helps the driver perceive the sounds of surrounding pedestrians and vehicles. We have provided a "Automatically enable Transparency Mode in Reverse gear" option in the "Driving Preferences" settings, which you can turn on as needed. In scenarios where opening windows is inconvenient, such as in severe weather or during night travel, using Transparency Mode for communication is safer and more convenient. When encountering pedestrians, you can also politely inform them to go first. When resting while camping, turning on Transparency Mode brings the sounds of nature into the cabin, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural atmosphere while keeping out insects, wind, and rain, and maintaining a comfortable temperature.
