In what scenarios should the Xiaomi Pengcheng wading capability be used?

Official answer

All Xiaomi Pengcheng models are equipped with a Wading Mode and possess a certain level of emergency wading capability. The N90 Max has a maximum wading depth of 750 mm, while the N70 Max has a maximum wading depth of 650 mm. The emergency wading capability of Xiaomi Pengcheng is mainly used in the following two emergency scenarios.

On road sections with accumulated water after urban rainstorms, users should manually activate Wading Mode after judging the water depth before passing through. It is recommended not to actively wade through water. If passage is necessary, drive at a low speed slowly, and strictly control the wading time and distance. Do not wade through water for long periods or over long distances.

Urban culverts, underpass tunnels, and low-lying areas are prone to waterlogging. Users can manually activate Wading Mode and pass through at low speed. If the water depth exceeds the vehicle's maximum wading depth during driving, an emergency state will be triggered. The infotainment screen will display the warning "Entered deep water area, please leave as soon as possible." The vehicle will automatically unlock the child locks and open the rear windows to facilitate occupant escape in emergencies. At this point, driving safety is significantly threatened and requires high attention.

In the face of extreme wading hazards, Xiaomi Pengcheng also supports emergency floating to escape entrapment, ensuring no significant water ingress into the cabin within 3 minutes.

After emergency wading, you should immediately contact a Xiaomi EV Service Center for a comprehensive inspection or repair; otherwise, it may cause vehicle damage and safety risks.

Recently, heavy precipitation has occurred in many areas due to Typhoon "Baihaitun" (White Dolphin). We remind everyone that during periods of heavy precipitation, the risk of waterlogging is high in urban culverts, underpass tunnels, low-lying areas, underground passages, and underground garages. Please try to avoid these areas.
