Long-term Episode 6 · Question 9

Can the Max version independently allocate power between front and rear axles? Can it be adjusted to a pure rear-wheel-drive model to improve range?

Official answer

In the Xiaomi SU7 Custom Mode, there is a personalized adjustment function for front and rear drive allocation ratios with up to 100 levels. Users can choose different drive allocation ratios between the front and rear axles according to driving needs, achieving different driving experiences of front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, or rear-wheel drive.

In the "M1 Economy Mode," the Xiaomi SU7 prioritizes using the permanent magnet synchronous motor for rear-wheel drive, combined with the optimal energy management strategy for the entire vehicle, which can bring better energy consumption performance. Meanwhile, the front motor will also perform dynamic torque compensation when power demand arises.

Thanks to the excellent performance of the "M1 Economy Mode," the Xiaomi SU7 Max equipped with 19-inch Michelin e primacy tires can achieve a powerful range of 810KM (CLTC cycle).
