Can passengers control the vehicle using their mobile phones while on board?
Yes. If the passenger is using a phone running the Xiaomi HyperOS system, they can first connect to the vehicle's hotspot (if a physical keyboard for the center console screen is selected, the hotspot can be connected quickly by tapping the phone against the central volume knob).
Once the hotspot connection is successful, swipe down from the top of the phone screen. An icon representing the car will appear in the "Converged Device Center." Clicking the car icon opens a window where you can view and control the vehicle's navigation, media, air conditioning, and seats.
When family members or friends ride in the vehicle, there is no need to download the Xiaomi Auto APP, nor do they need additional authorization, allowing them to easily and conveniently control the vehicle, including adjusting functions such as air conditioning and seats.
Moreover, once passengers connect to the vehicle's hotspot, they can also cast audio and video content from their phones to the vehicle's infotainment system to share with everyone in the car.
