Does the three-layer silver-coated front windshield affect mobile phone signal?

Official answer

During the development of the Xiaomi SU7, we conducted thorough mobile phone signal testing and verification to ensure no interference with mobile network signals. This testing covered 15 models from 6 mainstream brands, 3 major carriers, across various scenarios nationwide including residential communities, business office buildings, large shopping malls, underground garages, urban areas, suburbs, mountains, city viaducts, tunnels, highways, service areas, national roads, and provincial roads. We performed comprehensive tests under different vehicle positions and window states (open/closed). The conclusion is: All test phones passed the tests, with no impact on navigation signals, internet connectivity, communication signals, or multimedia streaming experience.

The Xiaomi SU7 front windshield uses three-layer silver-coated glass, the panoramic sunroof uses double-layer silver-coated glass, and the four-door window glass adopts UV-IR coating technology. These provide excellent sun protection and heat insulation without requiring film application, and have received universal praise after being personally tested by "millions of netizens"!

Vehicles lacking the original factory three-layer silver-coated front windshield may experience mobile signal interference if third-party heat-insulating films containing precious metals are selected, as these lack strict testing and verification.
