How was the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Prototype designed? Is this your first time building a track prototype? Do you have experience?

Official answer
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Prototype was led in design and development by Xiaomi Auto. Since 2021, Xiaomi Auto has assembled a team with strong technical capabilities and track experience. Currently, the core hardware and body structure of this prototype are independently designed and developed by Xiaomi Auto. For example, the HyperEngine V8s super motor is completely independently developed. The track-grade Xiaomi CTB battery pack was jointly developed with CATL and features the Kirin Gen 2 battery for the first time globally. Additionally, the entire vehicle thermal management system, electric drive controllers, and battery control strategies are also independently designed and developed by Xiaomi Auto. Of course, after completing the vehicle design, we invited a world-class top-tier technical advisory team to provide advice and support regarding track capabilities for the Nürburgring challenge. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Prototype will officially challenge the Nürburgring in October. We hope that through continuous training in the harsh track environment, more leading technologies can be applied to mass-produced vehicles in the future. Xiaomi Auto deeply understands that only by mastering core software and hardware development capabilities can we persist in long-term investment and achieve the goal of becoming the fastest four-door electric car on the Nürburgring within ten years.
