What should I do if my phone receives an OTA update notification while driving the Xiaomi SU7?
If you receive an OTA update notification on your phone while driving, please note the following:
When the vehicle is driving normally, to ensure driving safety, even if the user clicks [Start Upgrade] on the phone, the system will prompt the user to postpone the upgrade.
Before updating the vehicle, please ensure the power battery's remaining charge is >20% and the vehicle is in a parked state.
Please park the vehicle in a safe location with good network conditions. The vehicle cannot be used during the upgrade, and the upgrade cannot be paused, so please reserve sufficient time for the upgrade.
To ensure user driving safety and avoid disturbing the user while driving, the in-car OTA push notification will pop up only when the vehicle is parked > shifted to P gear. The process is as follows:
The OTA update package will download automatically in a networked environment. After the download is complete, a pop-up prompt for the upgrade will appear on the in-car screen when the vehicle is parked and shifted to P gear.
If the vehicle is parked on the road and you accidentally select the upgrade, you will have 2 minutes to cancel it. When you wish to upgrade at a suitable time, you can go to "Settings" - "System" - "Version Information" to continue the upgrade.
If you click [Start Upgrade] while the vehicle is driving, Xiaomi EV will not perform the upgrade to ensure driving safety.
