The Xiaomi SU7 may display "Preheating battery for fast charging" during navigation. This is the standard "Navigation Battery Preheating" feature across all SU7 models, designed to increase vehicle charging speed in low-temperature environments.
When navigating to a charging station in low temperatures, the vehicle comprehensively evaluates factors such as the destination charger's power output, current battery temperature, driving duration, and predicted state of charge upon arrival. Based on this, it intelligently activates battery preheating and adjusts the heating rate to ensure the battery reaches an optimal temperature upon arrival, thereby improving charging speed. Of course, the battery heating process consumes some energy. If you have ample time for charging, you can turn off this feature via Vehicle Settings — Charging & Discharging — Navigation Battery Preheating.
