How is the assisted driving capability of the Xiaomi YU7?
The Xiaomi YU7 follows the "standard features are flagship" philosophy, coming standard with LiDAR, as well as one 4D millimeter-wave radar, 11 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars. These hardware components bring better performance to the Xiaomi YU7's assisted driving functions.
The standard LiDAR allows the Xiaomi YU7 to identify objects more accurately at night or in complex environments, with an effective point cloud distance of up to 200 meters. At the same time, power consumption is reduced by 55%, making it both safe and energy-efficient, serving as a solid line of defense for driving safety.
All trims of the Xiaomi YU7 are equipped with 4D millimeter-wave radars. Compared to 3D millimeter-wave radars, they add height information, significantly enhancing resolution and detection range. For example, when following another vehicle, if the vehicle ahead brakes suddenly, the assisted driving system can enhance warning alerts; in adverse weather conditions such as rain or fog, the 4D millimeter-wave radar can also better perceive traffic conditions that are invisible to the naked eye.
The Xiaomi YU7 is equipped with 11 high-definition cameras throughout the vehicle, of which 7 are ultra-transparent anti-glare cameras. Their lenses apply ALD coating technology to effectively suppress visual interference caused by backlighting and glare, resulting in clearer and more transparent image quality.
Computing power upgrade across all trims: Equipped with the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor™ automotive computing platform, the computing power reaches 700 TOPS, better supporting the integration of large models into vehicles and bringing a better assisted driving experience.
