What is the difference between the 25-speaker and 14-speaker systems in the Xiaomi YU7? Is the 25-speaker system worth upgrading to?

The Xiaomi YU7 Standard and Pro editions come standard with 14 speakers, with an option to upgrade to 25 speakers for an additional 6,000 RMB. The Xiaomi YU7 Max comes standard with 25 speakers.

Whether 14 or 25 speakers, both utilize Xiaomi's self-developed algorithms for more realistic sound reproduction and a more balanced bass experience throughout the cabin. Additionally, all Xiaomi YU7 models come standard with two driver headrest speakers for navigation, calls, and ADAS alerts.

The 25-speaker system offers improvements over the 14-speaker system in both hardware and functional experience:

In terms of hardware, the former has higher amplifier power and lower distortion, delivering better sound quality. The tweeters, mid-range, woofers, and subwoofers all use top-tier PSS speakers, offering better extension for highs and lows.

In terms of functionality, the 25-speaker system includes sky speakers, forming a 7.1.4 channel setup.
