The battery packs across all Xiaomi YU7 models have adopted multiple measures for safety protection. Hardcore physical protection has been upgraded to 16 layers or more, reaching industry-leading levels, so you can rest assured about the safety of the Xiaomi YU7 battery pack. For example, regarding battery bottom protection, we have built a triple defense line:
First, we designed a 1500MPa high-strength anti-scrape bottom beam at the front of the chassis, which can block impacts from road stones during driving first, providing the first line of defense for the battery pack;
Second, we added an anti-scrape structure at the front edge of the battery pack, which can effectively absorb energy from general collisions received during driving, constituting the second line of defense for the battery pack;
At the same time, the bottom of the Xiaomi YU7 battery pack also adopts the same "bulletproof coating" as the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. When the vehicle bottom encounters scraping, it effectively absorbs impact energy, greatly reducing damage to the battery pack caused by bottom scraping, building a third solid line of defense for the battery pack. Compared to traditional PVC coatings, the bulletproof coating's scratch resistance and tear resistance are improved by 10 times, and puncture resistance is improved by 13 times.
