Behind the "24-Hour Endurance Challenge," what exactly makes the new generation SU7 so strong?
The new generation SU7 Max (test vehicle) achieved an impressive result of 4,264 km in the "24-Hour Endurance Challenge." This performance is inseparable from the continuous "technological breakthroughs" and "design optimizations" by Xiaomi Auto engineers, as well as the upgrades in the new generation SU7 Max, which features an 897V silicon carbide (SiC) high-voltage platform, the Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus super motor, and a 101.7kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering stronger power, longer range, and faster charging.
The new generation SU7 Max electric drive system, centered around the Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus, can sustain ultra-high speeds of 240 km/h throughout the "24-Hour Endurance Challenge" while maintaining low energy consumption, achieving both strong power and high efficiency. The new generation SU7 Max achieves a CLTC energy consumption as low as 13.4 kWh/100km.
The new generation SU7 Max is equipped with a 101.7kWh ternary lithium battery, capable of continuous discharge exceeding 140kW and charging exceeding 400kW multiple times without overheating or performance degradation. Equipped with the highest voltage 897V SiC high-voltage platform, the new generation SU7 Max can add up to 670km of CLTC range in just 15 minutes. With a peak charging rate of 5.2C, charging from 10% to 80% takes as little as 12 minutes, reducing charging time so the vehicle can return to the test track faster.
The "track-level heat dissipation system" of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra has already been tested on the Nürburgring, capable of completing two consecutive flying laps without overheating. We equipped the new generation SU7 Max with a heat dissipation system derived from the SU7 Ultra, combined with active 3D oil cooling for the electric drive and dual large-area cooling for the power battery, comprehensively ensuring heat dissipation. This guarantees that the temperature of the three-electric system remains stably controlled within the efficient and safe working range throughout, preventing overheating and degradation.
The aerodynamic design of the new generation SU7 remains excellent. With 9 sets of air ducts and 18 vents across the vehicle, it efficiently guides airflow. The 28° front windshield angle and 17° fastback angle create a golden balance point for airflow "entry" and "separation." Additionally, optimizations such as the pebble-shaped LiDAR and frameless side mirrors significantly reduce the impact of wind resistance on range at high speeds.
As seen above, the new generation SU7 performs excellently in multiple aspects, including the three-electric system, heat dissipation performance, and drag optimization. Furthermore, the thorough verification behind these rigorous tests will provide solid assurance for your daily use.
It is worth mentioning that the three-electric system identical to that of the new generation Xiaomi SU7 Max has previously undergone thorough verification on the YU7 Max. The Xiaomi YU7 Max (test vehicle) recently achieved a result of 3,944 km in the "24-Hour Endurance Challenge," making it the current record holder for pure electric SUVs.
