On the new-generation SU7, the "Xiaomi Dragon Chassis" is introduced for the first time. This is a high-performance intelligent chassis system with deep software and hardware integration, aiming to bring drivers a more precise, stable, and safer experience;
At the chassis hardware level, the new-generation SU7 comes standard across the entire lineup with a "front double-wishbone independent suspension" + "rear five-link independent suspension", 265mm wide rear tires, and front four-piston fixed brake calipers, delivering excellent driving quality and braking confidence. The Pro and Max versions are also equipped with a "closed dual-chamber air spring" + "CDC® continuously variable damping shock absorbers", enabling the suspension to be "adjustable in height" and "adjustable in stiffness". This gives a single chassis two "styles", balancing the needs for "personal driving pleasure" and "family riding comfort";
In addition, it has been given a deeper and more refined professional tuning compared to the first-generation SU7. On the brake pedal, it references the "pedal feel tuning" style of the SU7 Ultra, while optimizing the brake pedal's bite point, giving the driver more confidence every time they step on the brakes. The steering system tuning has also been significantly upgraded, becoming more precise and more "responsive". Furthermore, the overall more refined tuning of the suspension system also brings better "vibration filtering performance" and "support performance";
At the same time, it provides intelligent functions with deep software and hardware integration. For example, it is equipped with an "Anti-Slip Cooperative Control System", which can significantly reduce wheel slip on low-grip road surfaces. It also features a brand-new "Wet Mode", which significantly improves driving safety on wet and slippery surfaces such as ice and snow. Additionally, it can monitor the road environment through AI multi-modal sensing, identify wet and slippery conditions, and proactively suggest the driver switch to Wet Mode in a timely manner, making it more thoughtful and safer;
