Long-term Episode 216 · Question 4

Why does the data show that the 0-100km/h acceleration of the new-generation SU7 Max is slower than that of the first-generation SU7 Max?

Official answer

The 0-100km/h acceleration time of the new-generation SU7 Max remains consistent with that of the first-generation SU7 Max. The new-generation SU7 adopts a calculation method that "includes rollout time", so there will be a slight difference compared to the "excluding rollout time" calculation method adopted by the first-generation SU7. Rollout time refers to the reaction time of the vehicle from a standstill to the first foot of distance at the start;

In addition, the entire new-generation SU7 series has been upgraded with the V6s Plus HyperEngine, and its power and energy consumption performance are both better than those of the first-generation SU7. The top speed of the new-generation SU7 Standard/Pro versions has also been increased from the previous 210km/h to 240km/h. Furthermore, thanks to a 1.5% increase in electric drive efficiency, the CLTC range of the entire series has been improved, with the Standard version at 720km, the Pro version at 902km, and the Max version at 835km, delivering outstanding comprehensive performance.

Here is a report on the media-tested "0-100km/h acceleration" and "100km/h-0 braking" results for the new-generation SU7 Max:

  • Autohome actual test: "0-100km/h acceleration" took 3.14 seconds, "100km/h-0 braking" distance was 35.06 meters;
  • Dongchedi actual test: "0-100km/h acceleration" took 3.17 seconds, "100km/h-0 braking" distance was 35.61 meters;
  • Yiche actual test: "0-100km/h acceleration" took 3.15 seconds, "100km/h-0 braking" distance was 34.27 meters;
  • The test vehicle was configured as the new-generation SU7 Max version, equipped with optional 21-inch sport wheels matched with sport tires, and the test environment was a dry surface;
  • This vehicle performance test was conducted by professional media in a closed venue. We advise everyone not to imitate it on their own, and we sincerely invite everyone to visit the store to test drive the new-generation Xiaomi SU7.
