The YU7 GT has excellent power consumption performance. While possessing 1,003 horsepower, it can achieve a power consumption of 15.9kWh per 100 kilometers, realizing a CLTC range of 705km. High performance and long range are often mutually exclusive, but the YU7 GT manages to have both thanks to comprehensive upgrades in core technologies such as the three-electric system.
The Xiaomi HyperEngine V8s EVO is one of the core upgrades. It adopts Xiaomi's self-developed X-Pin flat wire winding technology. Compared to traditional round wire windings, the slot fill rate is significantly increased and copper loss is notably reduced, allowing the motor's peak efficiency to reach 98.38%. At the same time, the V8s EVO uses 0.15mm ultra-thin stator and rotor silicon steel sheets, which effectively suppresses iron loss during high-speed rotation and further reduces energy loss. The dual optimization of copper and iron loss enables the V8s EVO to maintain excellent energy consumption performance while outputting 1,003 horsepower, increasing the CLTC range by approximately 6.4km.
In addition, by optimizing energy consumption at every stage, the energy transfer efficiency from the battery to the wheels reaches up to 94%. The front motor is equipped with an intelligent disconnect mechanism; in economy mode, the front motor and half-shaft can be completely decoupled to reduce drag loss, which can increase the range by up to approximately 20km. Thermal management capabilities have also been upgraded. Relying on a humidity balance AI algorithm and intelligent active control of the intake system, it precisely manages the vehicle's heat, dissipating it reasonably—neither too much nor too little, neither too early nor too late. This achieves optimal air conditioning energy consumption performance while satisfying comfort, further enhancing the vehicle's range. It is also equipped with low-drag wheels, long-range tires, and low-drag calipers. The synergistic operation of these technologies achieves the balance of 1,000 horsepower with low energy consumption and long range.
