The battery packs across all Xiaomi YU7 models have adopted multiple measures for safety protection, with hardcore physical protection upgraded to 16 layers or more, reaching industry-leading levels.
For example, in terms of bottom protection, we have built a triple defense line. First, we added a anti-scraping crossbeam at the front of the chassis with a strength of 1500MPa, which can block impacts from road stones during driving first, providing the first line of defense for the battery pack; second, we added an anti-scraping structure at the front edge of the battery pack. If collision occurs during driving, it can effectively absorb energy, constituting the second line of defense for the battery pack; at the same time, the bottom of the Xiaomi YU7 battery pack has been upgraded with the same "bulletproof coating" as the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. When the vehicle bottom encounters scraping, it effectively absorbs impact energy, greatly reducing damage to the battery pack caused by bottom scraping, constructing a third solid line of defense for the battery pack.
