On winter snow-covered roads, should the "Slippery Mode" be kept on all the time?

Official answer

When you are driving on slippery/ice and snow roads, we strongly recommend that you switch the driving mode to "Slippery Mode" to improve driving safety.

After entering "Slippery Mode", the system will adjust the power output during starting and acceleration to be smoother, the torque distribution between the drive wheels to be more balanced, the energy recovery intensity to be softer, and the intervention of the ESP body stability control system to be earlier and more active. In Slippery Mode, the vehicle can pass through waterlogged curves in the rainy season without easily "fishtailing". Therefore, compared with other driving modes, "Slippery Mode" can make acceleration on slippery roads smoother, cornering more controllable, and braking more anti-slip, allowing you to drive more composedly and safely on ice, snow, and slippery roads.

In addition, please note that under "Slippery Mode", the Xiaomi HAD assisted driving function will be unavailable. It is recommended that you stay focused on driving and drive steadily and slowly.
