Some users online tested the AEB braking speed and found it did not reach the 135km/h advertised at the launch event. What is the reason?
Currently, for the first batch of mass-produced versions of the Xiaomi SU7 delivered, the AEB forward emergency braking can achieve a maximum speed reduction of 70km/h at a maximum driving speed of 130km/h. The maximum AEB braking stop speed of 135km/h will be implemented in the upcoming first OTA update. This version has previously been submitted to CAERI for relevant testing, and the phased test results were showcased at the launch event.
AEB is an assistive function to ensure driving safety and a safety protection measure for emergency situations. We also advise everyone not to conduct related tests independently on public roads. For more usage precautions, please refer to the user manual.
