Under what circumstances does the Anti-Misapplication Function (MAI - Misacceleration Intervention) activate, and what should I do if I need to escape urgently after the function activates?
The Anti-Misapplication Function (MAI - Misacceleration Intervention) can identify the risk of collision when the driver rapidly presses the accelerator pedal in stationary or low-speed situations involving nearby vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles, pedestrians, walls, pillars, or other obstacles. It issues voice and text warnings saying "Please release the accelerator pedal," suppresses vehicle acceleration, and aims to minimize collision severity to protect the driver's safety.
The MAI misacceleration assistance function is turned off by default, and the setting switch must be enabled before use. If you encounter special situations requiring escape after enabling this function, you can perform the following operations:
If you continue to press the accelerator pedal for 5 seconds, the misacceleration intervention assistance will deactivate, responding to the driver's acceleration request;
When the MAI function prompts "Please release the accelerator pedal," release the accelerator pedal as prompted, then press it again to normally respond to the driver's acceleration request.
Please note that the MAI misacceleration intervention assistance function is expected to be implemented on the SU7 Ultra via OTA upgrade in April, while the SU7 Standard, Pro, and Max models are expected to receive this feature via OTA upgrade in March. We must seriously remind you: Misacceleration intervention is only a safety assistance function with strict triggering conditions and cannot guarantee activation in all scenarios.
