The launch event yesterday announced the full rollout of NOA that can be driven nationwide, so why can't I use it yet?
We began rolling out the nationwide City Navigation Assist this morning, enabling intelligent driving wherever the in-car navigation can reach.
To ensure the normal use of this feature, please confirm:
1. Your vehicle has been upgraded to Xiaomi HyperOS 1.4.0.
2. You are logged into your account, and the account's safe intelligent driving mileage has reached 1,000 km.
Intelligent driving mileage can be checked under "Intelligent Driving Data" for the bound vehicle via "Xiaomi EV App - Me - Intelligent Driving Zone".
The unlock status of the City NOA feature can be checked via "Intelligent Driving Academy - Navigation Assist Full-Domain Feature Tutorial". The intelligent driving mileage displayed there is the personal account's safe intelligent driving mileage.
Considering that multiple drivers may share the same vehicle, for safety reasons, the driver's personal Xiaomi EV App account safe intelligent driving mileage must reach 1,000 km, and they must complete the Intelligent Driving Academy before the City Navigation Assist feature can be enabled.
3. Set a destination on the in-car navigation and ensure the vehicle is in motion.
After meeting the above requirements, press the intelligent driving button on the left side of the steering wheel to activate the nationwide City Navigation Assist feature.
The City NOA feature provides owners with city navigation assist from start to finish in complex urban scenarios. Unlike Highway NOA, City NOA faces a much more complex driving environment. Based on safety considerations, we have set a threshold of 1,000 km of safe intelligent driving mileage to help intelligent driving novices familiarize themselves with the feature and better handle complex road conditions. In addition, current intelligent driving is not autonomous driving; the driver must still pay attention to road conditions at all times and intervene promptly when necessary to ensure safety first.
