How should I choose the air suspension height for daily driving of the new-generation SU7?

Official answer

The dual-chamber air springs of the new-generation SU7 feature 4 levels of height adjustment, achieving a height range variation of +30mm/-20mm. Users can select the appropriate level based on their needs to better handle different driving scenarios and requirements;

In addition to manual height adjustment, the suspension height will also adjust automatically based on vehicle speed and driving mode;

Taking the Comfort mode of the Max version as an example, we divide the suspension height into 4 levels: High / Standard / Lower / Low:

  • The High level (+30mm) will automatically lower to the Standard level (0mm) when the vehicle speed exceeds 60km/h, enhancing stability;
  • After exceeding 100km/h for 20 seconds, the suspension will further lower to the Lower level (-10mm);
  • When the vehicle speed exceeds 140km/h for 20 seconds, the suspension will drop to the lowest level (-20mm).
  • In Eco, Comfort, Sport, and the two Custom modes, the suspension height defaults to the Standard level:

  • When switching to Sport+, the suspension will automatically adjust to the Lower level (-10mm), delivering better handling performance;
  • In Master mode, it can be lowered to the lowest level, bringing out the strongest performance;
  • In certain special scenario modes, such as Super Power Saving and Motion Sickness Relief, the suspension will also automatically drop to the Lower level (-10mm), providing lower aerodynamic drag and a more stable driving experience;

    The new-generation SU7 is also equipped with an automatic suspension lift function:

  • Once enabled, when the user manually adjusts the suspension to the High level, the system will automatically memorize this lift point;
  • When entering this area again, the vehicle will automatically raise the body, increasing the ground clearance by 30mm compared to the standard height to improve vehicle passability;
  • When exiting the area, the body height is restored, conveniently avoiding the risk of scraping the undercarriage every time you enter or exit an underground garage.
